Tire Pressure light warning
So on Monday morning my light was on when I went to work. I looked at the tires they looked fine. Came home that evening, they had around 29psi. I pumped them all up to 35 psi, and the light as of today has not turned off. Does anyone have a idea why it hasn't done this? This is on my NISMO Z. I hate to take it to the dealer if I can somehow fix it myself. Any ideas?
You returned the pressure to the proper reading - and then drove about 100 yards? You need to drive a city block or two before the sensors report back into the monitor.
I off road my Nissan Xterra a couple of times a month and I'm well versed with the tire pressure sensor warning. We lower the air pressure in the tires down to 18-20 pounds off road to make the tires softer and more resistant to punctures on the rocks. Once back on road we have compressors to return to normal levels. It takes about 30-60 seconds of driving before the warning light goes off.
Good luck.

Didn't need to, on the way home from work yesterday after a sprinted 1-3 gear run for fun, it turned itself off. LOL! The car is playing games with me I tell ya!
So it took 2.5 days for it to go away.
