Same here and I have the same problem. I tried to super glue the pieces together and I just made it worse b/c it stained white on the plastic It bothers me looking at it so im going to just remove the seat, find someway to permanently stick those pieces together so they don't come apart every time I get out of my Z then paint it black.

You may recieve some distortion or crosstalk. You would hear a whining noise usually when you hit the gas just a little. Come to think of it, how old is your battery? If you have an 03 you may need to replace it and or add a cap.

purchase a capacitor and try it out. if it does not fix your problem , then take it back. I had a similar problem with another vehicle and it went away when I installed a capacitor.
