i recently installed some jvt racing test pipes on my 03 Z and its sounds good plenty of power but after 30 mins of driving they start to throw out white smoke real bad. Does anyone know what it could be?

Test pipes do not make smoke. The pipes are not the cause of the smoke.

Mark the coolant level. You may be burning coolant in the combustion chamber.

Fouled fuel injectors will also result in pillows of white smoke.

if there is a shop close by to you that can flow test your injectors try that.

the injectors are easy to remove, inspect the o-rings.

Its odd for your car to start smoking like this after you installed the test pipes, but as already stated the test pipes wouldn't cause the smoke.

what color smoke is it?
power loss?
any codes?

if needed do a compression test.

the color of the smoke is white and there is absoutley no power it feels to have gain alot of power and my check engine light never came on which i have a friend with a 03 z and he said after he put his test pipes on his light never came on either but i think i might have found the problem the exhaust gaskets were blown out so i put alot of gasket maker for temp til i can get some new gaskets but it didnt smoke as nearly much

hmmmm, that's odd that it would cause it to smoke. You sure it's just not the cold weather.

That's weird... does it smell like gasoline? Are your test pipes brand new?

white smoke normally is coolant related with a sweet-ish smell to it. so you have no power? but gained power?

What kind of gasket maker did you use? was it meant to be used on exhausts in place of gaskets? its possible your just burning those off and that is the smoke coming out. if anything take off the test pipes, clean off the gasket maker, put the old gaskets back on (temp) and see how the car is then. If anything the car should be a bit louder (maybe exhaust leak) but if there is no smoke it probably was the gasket maker.

or just order some new gaskets and install minus the gasket maker and see how the car is then

since i put the gasket maker on which is only temporairly til i can get the old gaskets on it hasnt smoked yet, and since it started smoking i never lost power i only gained power. i marked my coolant level and im not burning any coolant at all so far. The test pipes are brand new. Also i could smell the smoke really well in the cabin of the car so i figured that the gaskets being blown out had alot to do with everything

Any rough idle you can notice? Like the car is about to die and then comes back?

im replacing the exhaust gaskets that come off the headers to the test pipes, but ur problems sounds like it would be a little more than the exhaust gaskets. When u rev ur car up to about 5 can you hear it backfiring... how many miles is on your z
