It is going into safe mode. Try a ECU reset.

It might also be a wheel sensor.

Throwing any codes? Is the "SLIP" light going on?

There is intructions on how to reset the ecu. You can search that becuase I don't feel like doing it for you. Or you can do the easy method and take off the negative cable on your battery over night.

Isn't it funny how when everyone describes their previous car it's always ALWAYS some super dooper car that is way faster than the Z- Just a general observation.

OP- Take it to a dyno and see what kind of power it's really putting out or take to a auto diagnostics place. Go Dyno

don't do jealous that an old honda would woop your z. thats why i built that car to beat people like you

now i'm older and now i want a luxury sports car .not my fastest choice.

Hey hey hey no need to get all defensive, I never said I didn't believe you, just go read some of the new owners ones, every second person has come from a give or take 500hp twin turbo car of some sort.

Maybe your Z has nothing wrong with it and just feels so slow in comparison to your old car. Anyway, I'm not too sure on what else to say- ask your ego though, it seems big enough
