Today i drived my Z when suddenly i put 3 gear and i felt that my rear of the car has been jumping with noise for a moment.I stopped the car.I run again.1, gear,2 gear 3....and it is like i gave a neutral position.i have all gears without third.i can give on third position without clutch.Do you think that my gearbox is finished?i have Greddy TT 415 hp.I know that OEM gearbox is strong,but maybe it is not true?Or maybe something little has jumped out?Help!

The Z's tranny is far from ****. It's very strong. It's the synchros that are weak.

I have Z from april 2004.Do you think it is that worse transmission?sometimes i cant put second gear on highs rpm,and it is noisy sometimes

 

Yes. I own a 2004 and I'm on tranny #5. Get tranny revision number 009 (or higher if available).

 

Are there some stronger aftermarket transmission parts?I cant find anything to Tranny(only ring & pinion set which dosent make tranny stronger)

 

One more important thing.Are there some information on tranny about model which is?
Where is it if there is?
