Default recall , replacing hoses on fuel tank

Hi guys , I did a search, but I guess I didn't enter the right search info , I am getting ready to drop the exhaust/suspension to replace the hoses that the recall says to do , there was a really cool post on it that had a bunch of pictures , that's what I can't find ,any help would be great , ps: I know the dealer will do this n/c but I would rather do it myself , the post would be a great addition to the service manuels , Craig.

just remember, you do this yourself and anything goes wrong, you will be footing the entire bill for fixing it. but whatever, its your car and if you choose to mess it up, then go for it.

Fairly easy job , not worried about the car ,I have others to drive ,I will make sure everything is put back together right and torqued to spec! , the garages don't take the time to do that, plus to many horror stories from people on here, thanks for the concern though. besides the 3-4k in 2003 ,we only drive this car on average ,100-125 miles a year.

IF the dealer will do it for free, WHY sweat it, guy?!--unless it's really far from
your place, of course.

I know what your saying ,but everything I've ever had done at the dealer has ended up badly , I'm very picky ,the last time the car went in for the tire feathering issue they took the paint off a 3" section of the wheel lip , and to top it off one of the new tires was flat when I got home , after looking at it a huge chunk of the rubber bead had torn off and was wedged between the bead and the rim lip! , they told me that there was no way they could have done that , another problem my lawyer straightened out ! , I have the worst luck with dealerships , nobody cares, the $37k that this car cost maybe isnt alot to them , but it is to me! , when I take a car in for service I expect to get it back in the same shape I left it in ! , Craig.
