Roadster window rolls itself back down???
I have an 05 Roadster and Ive been having some obscure problems with the window. The window will occasionally roll itself back down about 4 inches (not all the way down) after ive rolled it all the way up. The manual says there is a sensor that detects obstructions that would do this, however I do not see anything that might be blocking the window. It happens both with the top is up and when the top is down.
I did a little searching here and found a lot of info about the motor, but I dont think this is the motor as the window rolls up and down just fine.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

I have an 06 coupe and it does this on and off (but only on the drivers side), it's annoying but I have no clue what the hell is causing this either... would really like to know why and how to correct this issue!!!
There is a reset button on the underside of the motor that has to be pressed in order to reset the window. My technicians have to do it all of the time. You haven't lost power at any time have you, like changing the battery or having to jump start the car?

there's a procedure to reset it...i'll see if i can dig it up
pulled this up from g35driver...should be similar
1. Make sure you know how to remove the door panel. I double-checked the internet for some specific steps so as to not eff up any parts or sratch the vinyl/plastic surfaces of the door.
2. Before you take the door panel off, make sure the window is rolled all the way up.
3. Because the window rolls up and down a bit when you shut or open the door, the door must be shut when attempting the reset process. You can just have someone hold the switch inside the door jamb so that the car thinks the door is shut or use a large c-clamp to hold it in as well. The linkage for the inside door handle kept me from completely removing the door panel in order the shut the door during the process. As you will see later, I found it a bit awkward to perform the reset process with only two hands so some help from a friend would be of benefit.
4. The reset switch is a little rubber nub sitting inside one of the holes in the metal, inner door cover. It is covered by a thin, round, sticky, vinyl cover. There's several of these covers on the surface of the door but it's one of the covers towards the middle of the door.
Reset Steps:
While holding the door close switch, press and hold the reset switch while rolling the window all the way down (do not use the auto-down method).
Release the reset switch, but keep the door close switch held in and roll the window all the way up (do not use the auto-up method).
Release the door close switch and check to make sure the window is adjusted correctly. That's it!

I discovered that if I dont pull the switch up all the way it rolls up just fine. The window switch seems to have two positions, if I pull it up half way before it clicks the window goes up and stays up. It only seems to come back down when I pull it up all the way at which point it rolls itself up automatically, and back down a couple inches. Weird.

Holding the button up after the window closes for a short period of time seems to make it stay closed, too (about 5-8 seconds). For the people that have reset theirs, do you have to do it often or does one time do the trick?
