Front end alignment
Not sure where to post this so I thought I would post here also along with brakes/suspension.
I bought my wife a new '07 Touring model last year. The car is stock with 14,000 miles.
The car is used for commuting and has not hit curbs, pot holes,etc-.The tire pressure has been maintained.
The front tires have abnormal wear on the inside like the camber is off.
Has anyone with a newer model have this issue?I know it was a problem with the 2003/4 models.
I will be very p----- if the dealer tells me that this is not covered.I think the problem was there when we dorve it off the lot.
Thanks,Kurt.

I had tire feathering on my 2005 -- so it's not just a 2003/2004 issue. Getting the alignment done properly seems to have resolved the issue on the new tires. I have a feeling that some Nissan dealerships (as well as other shops) might still be using the old alignment specs.

Just noticed yesterday that my tires are wearing on the outside, almost down to the wear indictors at the outside edge. Since the car has barely over 3,000 miles on it that is real bad. Anybody else have wear on the outside instead of the inside?

How many alignments has your 2007 had since you've purchased it? Some alignment shops aren't good either, if that's the case take it to a good specialist shop that comes highly recommended.

350z there is no front camber adjustment
Finally after talking to two Nissan dealers (who didn't feel the need for an alignment machine) and discussing the issue with Nissan Care canada. Two people I spoke to there didn't know what camber was! They referred me back to the dealers who didn't seem to have a clue. Do these auto makers have secret things they don't share with the public about the quality of their vehicles ..... why do they need to be sued as Nissan was to come clean???
The original response I got from them was that the tire wear was not covered under warranty and I would have to speak to the tire company. DUH!!!
I promised I would research and get back to her with the answer. Her second answer was all WRONG .... the wheels are not adjustable for camber as she told me. The last time I spoke with Jennifer she finally relented and said the part WAS NOT ADJUSTABLE and I would have to purchase aftermarket parts to correct the problem.https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif
