Default funny noise-can you guess

I recently had my calipers painted red....I'll throw in a pic. Then about a few weeks later I started hearing a noise like a metalic jingle when I put a load on both rear wheels..ie it was coming from the rear wheels when I took off in 1st gear, and if I listened carefully. It happened every time, and got a bit louder over 2 months. I had a few friends listen and a few mechanics informally. Everyone thought the pads were loose, or maybe the clips were left off by the caliper paiinter.....
Got a tune up which was supposed to be a few hundred bucks, and paid double in the end.....guess what it was....and when you do, I'm curious if anyone else has had it happen. My Z has 70K KM's on it.

Wait, you had someone else paint your calipers? Wow, that's lazy.

Painting your stock brakes is like looking at a midget in a tuxedo.

... something just isn't right.

lol....yeah, I no my brakes are small....just like everything else about me.
When they greased my axel , the noise went away.....
And no, I don't do mechanical stuff. I'm a doctor , not a mechanic.
The rims are polished aluminum, not chrome, and I like the bling, even if you don't (I assume the 'kinda chrome' bit was sarcastic?...don't know any of you to read between the lines).
So, anyone else have this happen?

I like 'em. My stock calipers are red, too.

Now, if we can get it past the big brake snobs around these parts - what the heck was making your noise?

they said the axel needed grease....and 'it happens sometimes'..
thanks for liken my rims btw......
If I had more money to spend, I'd get a big brake kit, plenum, lighter flywheel.
I bought 4 cars in the last 2 years....a 2003 Murano, 1998 328is Bimmer, 1998 new Bettle, and my 2003 Z.....I'm lucky I even had money to lower, popcharge, rim, and hopefully soon get a Nizmo exhaust....
Everyone's quick to judge....no different that when I was on everthing 350z, but it was all cool after the breakin period....so go ahead all and give it to me without the vaseline guys, I can take it......
