Default Popping Sound

Since the last visit to the dealer I have been hearing a lot of popping sounds from the rear of the car whenever I apply the brakes. Yesterday I noticed the popping sound in the front passanger side while turning left into the driveway.

Does anyone have any idea as to what may be the problem? I hate to go back to the dealer to have him tell me that he can not find anything wrong.

I have had the Z since Jan 2003, I have 7800 miles on it, and I am still trying to get new tires, kick plates, and not to mention the many random rattles that the dealer can never find.

Make sure it is not coming from the front as a lot of us had lose front suspension control arm bolts.

I have the same problem--popping sound from the direction of the front right (passenger side) wheel, both when braking hard or when slowly pulling into/out of a parking spot with the wheel turned all the way to the right.

So, can this be the suspension? Is it serious? Should I take it in for service ASAP, or can I drive it until my next scheduled maintenance (about another 500 miles)?

Later,

Bode

You can wait just make sure they check those upper control arm bolts for proper torque.
