SES Light On
I've read a few threads but I have a specific question. I have the Berk HFC's with Tanabe Y-Pipe & Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust. Never had a problem with the SES light coming on. I've had this set-up for about 8 months now. So just the other day I got a SES light. So I took it to the dealer and they ran the diagnostics and said they needed to replace the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor. The actual part number is 22693-CD700 Heated Oxy which is the Oxygen Sensor correct? Everything came out to 329.61 including labor. So two days go by and again with the SES light. It came on again and now I'm wondering are they messing with me or what are the chances that both oxygen sensors need to be replaced if i'm correct when they say Air Fuel Ratio Sensor is actually the oxygen sensor.
The heated oxygen sensor sends a voltage signal to the ECU. The ECU adjusts injector pulse duration to alter the air-fuel ratio. Not aware of a part called “Air Fuel Ratio Sensor.”

That's the thing that I don't know what the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor is. I disconnected the battery to clear the code which is off for right now. I'm hoping it doesn't come back on but only time will tell. I'm hoping someone knows what the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor is.
