'07 Enthusiast here - been having this clunking ever since I rolled over 45k miles this Summer (yeah I drive a TON, haha). Looks like a lot of possibilities to check out, hope I can pinpoint the issue on mine.

Hey guys whats up. My 350Z GT does this noise also I will give a try on the hatch struts. They seem to be wearing out already. I will let everyone know once this is done and if it corrected the annoying rattling.

I have a warranty appointment tomorrow they are replacing the hatch struts. I'm pretty sure they are replacing the small black springs that are on the hatch also. I will post up an update once that gets taken care of.

removed the hatch struts completely and the noise is still there . . . suspension issue for sure . . . . im not even under warranty . . . i would rather get an aftermarket strut or OE style coilovers that may fix this issue as well as improving handling a bit . . . any ideas ? ? ?

^^^ man its really hard to tell from the sound clip... but at 0:55, the 3 clunks, is that coming from the rear? if it is, then i'm experiencing the same with my car... for me, the sound is from the rear, and i thought it was my spare tire at first...

all the clank sounds are coming from the rear . . . i dont have spare or jack or anything . . even removed the hatch struts . . . while doing the drive . . . and at these low speeds, it is clear that the hatch is not moving around at all . . . its coming from the suspension

This is the EXACT sound I have in my 04. Please tell me if you find a fix.. I am going to get new struts and see if this does the trick... The only problem is I dont know what struts to pair with my sportline springs

The more I think about it.... Spending 450 on Struts seems silly when BC Coils are 950. Plus I can sell my sportlines and make up some money.
