Arrow Any updates on the fuel tank/sensor problem? *RESOLVED*

I posted (and other people posted) about this problem before. Just wanted to check if anyone has heard or gotten it fixed.

The problem I've been having is that I can never put more than about 13 gals into my tank, and the gauge only shows 1/2 full. It will stay at half full (which I guess it really Full for now) until it really gets past 1/2 full. Then it starts going down.

Here are some threads that people have started regarding this problem.

...So as you guys can see i did hit the search button. I just want to know if anyone has this fully resolved or can point me in the direction of some documents I can take to the dealership. I don't have warranty any more, and i have a 2006 Grand Touring Z. Thanks.

I SEEM TO HAVE FOUND THE SERVICE BULLETIN FOR ONE OF THE PROBLEMS...

http://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/Knowl...2249&catid=340

I also attached the pdf of the service bulletin, in case anyone wants to download it without having to register with nissanhelp.com

btw, it seems like the service bulletin is good for all 350z models (03-08).

Took my car to the Dealership in Odessa, TX.
They looked up the VIN number on my car and told me that there were no service bulletins at all for my car. And that if I wanted to take it in, I'd have to pay for it.
...even though my car has the exact simptoms listed on the service bulletin. Wow...

Print the Service Bulletin and take it in with you. They cannot NOT cover it then. It does not apply to a list of VIN numbers, like the Filler Hose TSB. They just don't want to do the work. I mean, I wouldn't either...

Just curious, but isn't a service bulletin just informational/procedural instructions on how to resolve an issue? I don't think it guarantees that it will be covered under any kind of warranty -- such as a recall would be.

I have the rear axle clicking issue, for which there is a TSB released, but three different dealerships in my area all said that I would have to pay to get it (or any other TSB type item) fixed. I even asked if it falls under the 5/60 power train warranty, but they said rear axle clicking is not part of the power train.

Isnt that weird? if they released a service bulletin... it means they know something has been malfunctioning and will need to be fixed... so they release steps on how to do it but they dont cover it?
