I've noticed lately when I first start my car and take the first few turns It sounds like something is grinding when I turn. But it seems after my car warms up and has been on the road for like 5-10 minutes I don't notice it anymore. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? Cold weather?

I can't help you because I don't own a Z, however I would edit your post to include what year model Z you own. Is it a HR or DE? That information will help others, who can help you, a lot.
I have an 04 touring and it does the same thing! It keeps getting louder too. I have an appointment at the dealer Friday but would love to avoid that cost if anyone has any suggestions.
It happens to my 2004.5 too. Whenever my car has been parked for a while, when I start the engine and take off in 1st gear (going straight and turning), I hear a brief grinding sound in the engine compartment. The sound starts off on the right and moves to the left on the front part of the car. It's quick only lasting 1-2 seconds and it also feels like this sound slows the car just slightly, barely noticable.
power steering belt...well thats what i can think of..check your belts and see if they have any cracks in them, if they do well then they need to be changed..
I remember hearing somewhere reading up on this.... It's something to do with the drivetrain, and the noise is gone when lubrication starts moving around.
