Default Airbag light issue

Was driving today and my airbag light cut on and is flashing now. Went by the dealer and blew me off stating they had noone to help me and could get me an appointment monday. Went by and plugged an obd reader in at autozone and it passed with no cels so im trying to figure out what is needed to see what sensor is being thrown off for the airbag system. A friend of mine said it could be something as simple as a seatbelt sensor or something more expensive. Any ideas?

did you sit something in the passenger seat? i did this with some of my military gear once (my body armor + ACH) and it set off my airbag light. had to do with a minimum weight in the passenger side.

The procedure in this link has more steps, but it looks essentially the same. Whatever the case it worked like a charm for me this morning.

I have the same issue when I bought the car. The dealer took it to get fix. Now it turns on again after my bro sat on it. ANy idea. They say that the light will turns off after 7 secs. What happen if it doesn't turn off in 7 secs and keep blinking?
