I am not a mechanic but I don't think that is a good sign.

Your not sitting in the driver seat facing the rear trying to make it go in "reverse" are you? You have to push down on the gas to make it move, not to mention shifting would be tricky... Silly.

i've had this issue once during a cold morning. I would try to engage reverse, but the damn lever would refuse to go in. all i had to do is to put it in first, and thereafter reverse popped right in.

This trick usually works unless your tranny is f'd up. If it doesn't go the first time, try going into first, then back into reverse. Seems kinda weird that it goes into all other gears...check your tranny fluid as well.

Recently had a new clutch installed so tranny fluid is good. 5th and 6th gear were harder to shift into at lower speeds after install but this only lasted for 2 weeks tops. every other gear is fine. tranny has already been replaced once. as i said in my post it wouldnt go into reverse with the car on or off. and WERK is super cereal man! eeeeeeeeeeeee! yea i was happy when it happened what do u think lol
