Question Squeal In Reverse

Can anyone please tell me how to get my rear brakes from squealing while in reverse. I feel pretty ghetto backing into a parking spot w/ a high pitch squeal........Tks

Huh? If you're talking about the whine that you get when in reverse, that's the gears in your tranny. If you've got a brake like squeal, you might want to release the E-brake.

Seriously, I don't know what you're talking about.

How many miles you got on yo ur Z? they might just need to be replaced. Mine does it every now and then.

But then again I have 12000 miles on the Z.

Yea man, it has a tendancy to do that. I thought it was a reacurring problem in Z's. Isn't there a TSB on it or something, haha.
I was just playin around with photoshop and my model car, and thought it would be a cool sig,

I have 10000 miles now. Is that a normal time to replace the brakes?

cyberz - Your sig. is pretty cool (the car that drives its self)

Depends on how hard you use them. 10,000 miles is way too low in my opinion. I went 65,000 miles in my Mazda and they were only half way worn.

I changed my fronts with the Hawks and no brake dust, doesn't squeal.

I have to agree that 10000 is too low for squeal...
The no brake dust thing must be nice
Can I ask what the Hawks set you back?

Hey thats a really good thread, but it didn't say how to take the rotors off to get shaved? Isn't that a routine thing to do when replacing pads?
