My dome light wont work. I checked the fuse and the bulbs and both are good. The gauge pods work fine. Anybody else have this problem and able to fix it?

i have the same problem? Can someone help me? I checked the fuses, bulbs, and even tried testing the 3 wires connected to the light. no power.

 

is there a fuse? i don't see a label for it in the kick panel or the engine. Everything works but my dome lights and the lights under the doors.

Just stopped working recently.

yea, I did. I disconnected the unit n connected back and still nothing, i switch the bulbs and still nothing, I'm not the sure which one is the Fuse for the dome lights though would it be the "Room Lamp"?

 

Looking at the '07 service manual, it's not really clear if there is a separate fuse for the interior room light.

In section BCS, it looks like the power comes from the Body Control Module. If other stuff controlled by the BCM is working, the problem is there or in the wiring. The other stuff includes the keyless entry, power door locks, power windows, and power seats.

In section PG, it shows 10A fuse #21 on fuse block (J/B) providing power to those.

The SM for your year may show something different.

 

well the windows and door locks work, i dont have power seat, and my car is an 04' , where is "section PG" and which fuse block are u talking about, i know our cars have 3 Fuse boxes, the kick panel and the two by the battery..

 

quite simply just unplug the neg on the battery for a few min and this will fix the problem. I had the same problem and resetting the ECU fixed it.

 

please i need help for this issue. I change BCM and works but change to leds and again don´t work. I don´t see any info but other people have pdf for repair. Please can hekp me and future issues? thanks
