Default TCS off + SLIP indication lights stay on

Hi. OK.. heres my story.

2007 350z
Automatic
sunny day

I go for a cruise. Stop outside a friends house ( switching ignition to the ACC position). Friend comes into the car and I put it into the "ON" position. AT Check light that usually comes on when starting the car.. DOESN'T.. so the tiptronic cant be used. The tcs off and slip light turn on and after 2 seconds of switching it to ON..well they usually turn off...they stay lit this time. I check to see if the tcs is really off by flooring it.. and they are really off. i turn off the car and turn it on again.. the lights remain. So i wait for a bit.. and try again.. this time the lightup process is normal. This problem happens quite often, usually when I turn the car off for a short period of time and turn it back on again.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you're still under warranty - take it to the dealer and have them check it. It sounds like the ECU or braking control module is flaky.

i had my vdc and slip light stay on, it turned out to be my cam sensors....if you're under warranty i'd take it, if not....most of the parts that break on the z you have to buy form nissan anyway...so either way they bend you over!....and you have to take it if you love your car.
