There is a TSB for the clicking noise from the rear axle:

No problem. I found this TSB when after I dropped the car off at the dealers (replacing front tires), I quickly call them up and now they are ordering new axle joints and bearings for me.

My dealer finally made the correct diagnosis on my 3rd trip in to complain about this annoying clicking noise coming from the rear axles. Parts are on order....It takes a minimum of 4 trips to the dealer to get any problem solved...still trying to get my window lifts fixed. On my 3rd drivers side lift and now waiting for the 3rd passenger side lift. My front tire pressure transponders are messed up and don't work when ambient temperatures get over 98 degrees. If I drive more than 50 miles my dash lights up and tells me I have a flat tire.

Ok I know this thread is kind of old but I'm having the same problem Eric was describing. I took it to the dealer however and could not get it to make the noise for them
anyway, how could I describe this to them and get them to fix it anyway? what did you guys say to them? is it covered under warranty?

I got it too, it gets worse over time, I;m taking it in soon to have it looked at but if its like any other Nissan Dealer they'll spend 8 hours on a 30 min fix, I really feel that the Nissan Service Departments are incompetent.
