Okay, lets take it down a notch. How many miles are on your 350z? When was the last time you changed your oil? Did you do regular maintainence like suggested in the owners manual? (I dont think so)
Did you notice anything strange when/if you changed your oil? You said you pulled out the spark plugs and saw oil, did you change the gasket/s? If so, please don't tell me you re-used the old plugs.
Hold off on changing the oil pump, oil pressure sending unit, possibly tearing you engine apart to get your valves replaced/ re-surfaced*fixed. Test out the minor details first. If you don't have an idea of what your doing have a certified mechanic look over your car.
You will need the ecu from the rev-up. Use the search feature for the rev-up swap. My friend I really hope you get this problem solved, because if you don't you might need a new motor if you continue to drive it. I can't help you with the rev-up part, but you shouldve just gotten another 03 engine and save yourself the headache.

What's up my fellow z33 drivers.
I 've been dealing with this problem for a while. The last time I changed my plugs, there was oil everywhere. I knew that the valve covers needed to be replaced. (Did you replace them? If so I hope you used different spark plugs.)
Now im smelling oil while driving hard and my gauge reads low as hell with oil. (What guage? The oil pressure gauge or did you check the dipstick?) The oil needs to be changed and the oil light flashes. I know that is bad. (So did you check/change your oil yet?)
I have the vq35de motor from 2003. These motors aren't that bad with oil like the revup engine. (They aren't all bad.) Could it be that my valve cover gasket is letting the oil get burned or my oil pump is faulty? I was thinking about (changing perhaps?) the oil pump and valve cover (gaskets?) Maybe the seals are shot in the4 covers (What? Do you you think your valve seats are leaking/worn out? Are you talking about your vc gaskets again?). Im thinking of changing my oil pressure sending unit.
I have an anniversary rev up motor in storage built for turbo but I still need an engine harness to run it. Could some one share some info on this pls.. thanks..

sorry about the gramma i was writting on some real stupid ish.. But i changed my spark plugs and i notice that oil was all in cylinder 5, 3 and 6 the others 421 was cool . yes spark plugs was replaced to iridium i remember reading that it was normal but i know something isnt right . she has all power and dont give the slightest sign or hesitation.. my de has about 175,000 coutning oil never went longer than 5k and thats only if money tight usually every 3k oil changed and no odd looking color other than what dirty oil looks like no metal material or nothing. But recenly i had took her in to get my idle adjusted and the tech calls me an said she was bone dry of oil and add a quart... also he said bring it in for testin now all i remember as far as oil was the covers .. no werd signs of any thing faulty so i listen to him and did the quart the next week i changed the oil royal purple synthetic 5w30 always .. i had this car from 2002 september . dealer only touched this car when things like my wheel bearing was relpalced.. every time she passed.. This oil is driving me nuts. i smell it sometimes and my guage i reads low thats with the oil ruuning pass 3k to 5k like i said only hard times . When i do fresh oil change the guage is fully funitonal and looks accurate compared to dirty oil and i know wit drity oil it can be inaccurate aswell just need some pin points on where to go but oil pump last on my mind i really need to do the covers tho . i see oil seeping thru the side .. never was there before this might be my problem.. been out of school for so long washed my knowlege away fors knowlege of cars.... me dont write service repair..

Guy,
Im not gunna be part of the grammar natzi's... Just some advice, if you dont write out your threads in a way that others can coprehend you are going to be made fun of...
Now as for your oil problem, it is clear that oil is seeping through your valve covers and into your spark plugs. Why haven't you changed both of your vc gaskets if you knew this was a problem? You might aswell replace both of them. The older your vehicle gets, the more likely gaskets and other parts wear out and need to be replaced. It's inevitable with high mileage.
Has it not occurred to you that by not changing them out you are burning oil and is probably the reason your adding oil constantly?
My advice (im not a nissan tech but this is what I would do) Change out your valve cover gaskets. Do a complete tune up: oil change, filter, spark plugs. Check your oil level when the car sits at a leveled out surface. I would not continue to drive it until the problem is solved if I were you.
I hope this helps and your problem is not to serious. (yoda voice)Take this with you, need it for your journey you will:
