ahhhh dam noise ....please help
(rear passenger side is the issue)
I changed my brakes the other day about probably about 2 weeks ago because i heard some noise which i assumed it was my brakes. Not thinking it could be anything else. After i changed them i thought i fixed the problem but after couple minutes of driving i heard the noise again and the more i drove the louder it gets, to the point where its so annoying to drive. At first it sounded like brakes where grinding the rotor, sounds like a (swoosh, swoosh swoosh) and get faster and lounder as driving and when i slow do to dissect the problem and hear it better its like a creaking noise going basically 1 mph super slow then i hit the gas hard (swoosh swoosh swoosh)
I spent all day trying to figure it out and after proper lubing and cleaning of the rear passenger brake system i still here it. When i slow down like 1mph its sound like a creaking noise, like your stepping on hard wood floor. I can only think of 3 options 1) it can be the caliper stuck but sound doesnt seem it would make that noise when slowing down. 2) i'm thinking its probably the wheel bearing but i jacked it up no play on the wheel and i thought it was a humming sound when the bearing goese bad (then again this is my first rear wheel drive car, so it can be different) , leaves me with 3 maybe i need new rotors and brakes back there, which like i mentioned i put new brake pads, to me this seems unlikely
can someone help me out i'm going crazy here, that noise is driving me up the wall, especially driving in town when the noise bounces off the streets. I'm pretty car savy so i know i put the brakes on there good and i'm just clueless right now. any help would be greatly appreciated
this is the car PMSing right now

Does it make the noise when you race the engine or apply the brakes with the car sitting still?
Can you make a video with sound so we can see what the speeds and rpms are when it's making the noise?

no noise when i race the engine, when i apply the brakes i feel like the noise is the same. i will try to get a video
i have the same exact problem that started last night FML.... i have a wilwood BBK and its been installed for about a month with no issues. and even wen i press my brakes the noise does not change. if you figure it out PM me and ill do the same.... i yanked the ebrake while driving and still no difference in the sound. im starting to think wheel bearing but hopefully not
i don't know about wheel bearing ...my noise starts after the brakes get hot and then gets louder and louder, probably after 30 minutes of initial driving...no clue the man, I'm bringing it to my shop this weekend so i'll let you know
