premature wearing of rearhub bearings
i had to replace rear hub bearings(the L/H side was really bad,the R/H side wasn't too bad but replaced both sides at same time $700)on my z that has only 35,xxx miles on it (05 model). never had a car that needed a new one at that mileage,i don't even remember replacing the bearings on any of cars that i have owned. is this a common problem on 350z's. is anyone out there that had a similar problem as i have or is this something that a z owner has to do every 30,000 miles or so.
I have a 2005. Had mine replaced left rear at 45K miles. I have 15mm spacers but still
I never really came up with a good reason why it happened other than the spacers but the other side is just fine.

how did you managed to keep it that long? any mod to your suspension and do you track often? which means that you push that car to the limit time to time right? see,i have never taken my car to any track.always driven carefully,no dumping of clutches here. i hope that failed bearing wasn't due to the mod i did mentioned above.

What are the symptoms of the hub bearings giving out? My driver side wheel is wobbling, and I've had EVERYTHING checked, and can't figure it out. Had my wheel balanced 3 times, 2 different tires, had the wheel checked out (it spins out beautifully), all the bushings, etc. My mechanic can't find any play in the bearing, but could that still be the problem? I'm at a loss...
