Yeah, it was weird. I was getting CEL's for multiple cylinder misfire, bad 02 sensor, all kinds of stuff. Couldn't get over 2K when driving. or get abouve 20mph. Could rev it to 5K at idle though.
Nissan had the car for a month and couldn't figure it out... they started taking my aftermarket stuff off the engine, because they said it was a vacuum leak.
i go there, they start it, and I notice that no exhaust is coming from the driver's side (dual exhaust). took the car back, pulled the cat off, and sure enough, the back was plugged up by the catalyst. Swapped test pipes in, and it ran like new again.

or ..... there's a problem with the throttle control motor.
car is drive by wire; go pedal is a sensor (potentiometer) that tells the computer how much and how fast you've pressed it. Computer opens throttle with the throttle motor. I'm guessing that if the motor is inoperative, the computer uses the Idle Air control to at least make the car driveable - and gives you an Idle Air code also.
First step would be to check connections at throttle motor.

ok so what happen when i threw the code i diconnected the battery and it went away, and when i started the car back up it kept throwing the code. so i disconnected the battery for a whole day and started it up the code was not there. so i drove to the dealership and turn the car off 15 mins later started it and no code was showing anymore. weird.. so i guess its fine now? starts and drives normal.
i had a problem like that too
my car would drive fine during the day but at night it would not rev up past 2500 rpm
turned out it was a set of led tail light bulds some how the system was shorting or or something.
it was halarious because no matter how far i pressed the pedal the car would go no where. As soon as I turned the lights off the car would just take off out of control

Crazy stuff...scouring the Internet for my symptoms!
P2103 read/cleared via a OBD II reader
Gonna check/clean my MAF since my car does sit. Started strong several times today, then sat a BBQ... Didn't start when it was time to leave. Revs didn't get to 2k...just bogged then died. Didn't even get it to push start!
Knowing it may be a shorted system I removed the audio thinking I ground something incorrectly.
Any thoughts
Thanks
