So I've been getting the P0345 TWICE on my Z for a while. For some reason it shows the same code twice...?? It finally started shutting off while I'm driving so she's been in the garage for a while. Gone through and researched what it could be which is the cam sensors. Replaced both of them...both of which btw were covered with oil especially the driver side. Removed the plenum and oil inside is evident. Removed the lower plenum and saw that three of the six cylinder ports are BLACK. That can't be normal...???
I've also gone through and replaced the PCV Valve and hoses. I will also be replacing the valve covers and spark plugs. At this point I'm not sure what else I need to do to remedy this problem. I would appreciate any advice.

 

Oil all over in the lower collector is standard fare, and a bit of "poor" dsign on Nissans part it appears.

theres a little oil drain back hole that gets clogged, clean it out, but otherwise this is fairly normal for our car.
Check your valvue cover gaskets too while youre in there... if you have enuff mileage to have the drainback plugged, i bet you have oil in your plug tubes as well from bad valve cover tube seals. Might as well since youre there.
