SES Light on! HELP
So I start my car yesterday and I see the SES light come on. I run the code and its a P0300 code, which is multiple cylinder misfire, but it has 10 different causes! So below is a little background to how the code came about:
I stopped driving my car two weeks ago because my rear pads were worn down to nothing. So i stored the car in the garage and ordered new pads. About three days ago I started to do the install. I decided to install all new pads on both Front and Back and while the car was up on stands I did an oil change and flushed the transmission and filled it with new Royal Purple trans fluid. So I start my car after the work was done and keep in mind its been sitting for two weeks. It starts fine, idles fine. But the damn SES is on now. Only thing that is different now and before is that I used Mobile 1 5w30 synthetic, whereas before I tested out Mobil1 0w40 synthetic. I realized that I also put in 5L of oil, instead of 4.7L of oil as recommended. I don't see why that would cause that engine code to come up though. Any ideas?
I also fed a tube down the passenger-side of the engine to fill the trans from the top, do you think I hit some kind of sensor that would trigger that code?

reset the code, and see if the code comes up again. many times 0300 could be a literally random misfire after some specific circumstance, like sitting too long and the ecu just might need a split second longer to get things running steadily, in which time a misfire might occur.
