Default Fresh clutch, pedal wont return

TI need help. I searched, but found nothing this specific. I just put my rebuilt engine in including a new clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, thrust bearing and sleeve, and the cast fork and ss line. I bolted the engine in and the clutch pedal just goes to the floor and won't return unless I pull it. Any idea? Bleeding? I gotta be missing something.

It's possible one of your clutch cylinders is going out. Do you see any leaking underneath the car?

No. no leaks. Everything worked fine last october. I overboosted, bent a rod, broke 4 ringlands, and cracked a skirt pulled it out, built it, put it in yesterday, now its like this. thats what leads me to believe I missed something....

Have you bled the clutch? That would be my 1st thought. Other than that... Leaks, bad master cylinder or slave. That's really all it can be.

If you pump the pedal, what happens?

Yes, you're bleeding the whole system. I believe the reason for bleeding at the slave is because it's the lowest point in the system.

if bleeding the system doesnt work, you might need a new slave cylinder
