Whenever i look under the car, i see this some kind of fluid under the boot next to the rack and pinion(?).
Where could the leak coming from?
The fluid level is dropping slowly
i feel that my steering is little heavy comparing to what other people are describing. I hear clicking noise when turning the steering with all the bushings and endlinks replaced. mY car is slightly slammed, just let you know.

happened to mine last week. it was power steering fluid for me. I tried the lucas power steering stop leak and it didnt work. ordered my new rack and it came in today. installing tomorrow
Where did you buy it? OEM? The dealer wants $1,100 for a new rack, I'm leaning towards the eBay ones.
Can't believe the seal broke on this one already, the junkyard sold it to me broken.

tell us how it goes!
Well mine is damp and i hear a "thump" when i turn the wheel. Ill just wait until i see a loss in fluid to order the new rack. Let me know how you guys feel with the new rack and pinion from rackdoctor
My old rack is Parkay.
But seriously. I had no idea there was anything to be concerned about. The area that has the moistness is under the subframe and it's cover so I would not have known anything was going on without pulling the motor.
I power washed it last week and have kept an eye on it, no new leak YET.
