overheating issue
so i know this has probably been asked but i searched and couldnt find much. now my car just kinda out of no where just started to run hotter than usual so i replaced the thermostat and the coolant and im going to replace the radiator cap now it is still over heating is this because i forgot to bleed the air and when i do will that stop the overheating
So i actually drained the coolant again so i could things right. I undid the air relief plug and began to fill it back up with coolant until until it came out of the air relief. I closed up the air relief and left the radiator cap off and started the car. Now instead of the coolant bubbling and then going down through the thermostat it just spilled out all over the place. Keep in mind i just replaced the thermostat. So i called someone and he thinks due to whats happening it's my head gaskets and because the 350z has an aluminum engine the gaskets go bad easier

If you want to do it right, you need a decent air compressor and one of these to properly change the coolant in your system. If you can't do that, you really should just take it to a shop that can.
that makes sense but ive done more digging to know if ur head gasket is blown or not and i have 3 a few days ago i drove to some place and back to my house and saw a bit of water in my exhaust tip one sign of a blown head gasket. another was the morning when it began to over heat i was on my way to school and what i thought was just warm air leaving my exhaust like when u see ur breath was thin smoke no one else's car was doing that. the last was overheating before i did anything with the coolant it was overheating and my oil pressure was lower than normal which makes sense with a blown head gasket theres no compression
