Default hissing noise in engine compartment

My car is making a hissing noise in the area near the brake fluid, windshield washer fluid and the intercooler caps. I never had any problems until my last car show. It was making this noise when I arrived home.

I recently drove the car 12 miles. When I arrived home, I had the same hissing noise. There aren't any drips or puddles of fluid from leaks on my garage floor.

I just started the engine for a minute and there was no hissing sound when I shut it off.

Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

How many miles and check your belts and fluid levels.

Take off the undercover on the car and see if there is any fluid in there. Leave it off overnight to see if there is any drips. Also turn on the car and listen to the engine from the engine bay. Could be a loose pcv hose.

15,700 miles, belts and fluid levels are fine.

Its what circled in red to help you out. Since that last link has two many different jumps and a log in required to view it.

Thanks. I am going to spend some time over the holidays checking everything out. I'll post the results.

Today, I switched out the intercooler cap. I replaced the custom chrome cap with the original cap and voila no more hissing noise. I guess the chrome cap stopped sealing completely over time. It is strange to me, as the chrome cap was on the car for at least 3 years.
