Exclamation Issues after Spacer Install

Today i installed a Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer.

I already have a jwt pop charger and resonated test pipes and it was all working before.

Since install of the plenum spacer; the car idle is very rough and sometimes it dips so low that it stalls out.

I was driving today at roughly 4000 rpms going perhaps 60 km/h and the car stalled while driving!

There is no hissing noise and all hoses appear to be on correctly. And I have reset the ecu, done all the throttle position learning / idle setting, etc.. to no avail

Someone please give me some insight!

Check your MAF sensor. It might be installed backward.

Hmm one of the things that can cause your car to die while driving is cam/ crank pos sensor. That usually gives codes. BTW is your car spitting any SES codes?

Take the spacer back off and see if it goes back to normal. If it fixes the issue, throw the ***** out. You're not getting much power in addition to be worth the headache. If the car still acts the same way, you need to quadruple check everything.

Did you reinstall the hose on the underside of the intake?

How did you torque the spacer? Make sure to re-check all your bolts. I checked mine a few days later and like 6 of them had backed their way out..

I torqued to 100 INCH pounds as recommended.

All hoses seem to be fine.

Error codes are 0057 and 0037, Secondary O2 sensors, I dont currently have them in.

sound like there is a leak. I had a Kinetix plenum and the same exact problem pop up after 7k miles. Idling at stop lights is very rough. The rpm needle would jump below 700rpm to 1100 rpm, fluctuating up and down randomly, never stay the same at the exact spot...
i pop the hood, feel my finger around the edge of the plenum and there was a big leak which suck in the air when i feel my finger at the bend spot of the plenum, where the throttle body is connected to it. Turn out my Kinetix plenum had a bad gasket leak. End up putting stock plenum on and a new 5/16 spacer. Problem fixed.

Your problem could be bad torque or bad seal. Try to do a compression check on the plenum to troubleshoot this.

Is it possible it could leak if I tightened it too much?
