Window issues
I tried searching for my specific issue but I could only find complete window failure threads.
So I got my windows tinted over the weekend. Since then, Whenever I open and close the doors, the windows don't go down and up, respectively. They look like theyre all the way up all the time but I'm not completely sure.
Is this a regulator issue? Or is there an easy way to fix this? I have a very hard time believing that a part in both doors happened to go out at the same time. Is there anything this guy could have messed up when he was putting on the tint? I wasn't watching him while he was doing it, so I have no idea what he could have done.
Any ideas? :-)
Thanks, y'all, for your help in advance! I'm pretty frustrated and since I don't know much about cars I'm left just scratching my head.

Not really sure what you mean "they don't go up and down". If It means what I think it means, and your windows work, but don't adjust their height when the door closes, it has to do with the motor.
You would have to have it reset, which is a pretty easy procedure to do and wouldn't take that much time.

I don't know either, but I know it did it before and now it doesn't. I'm pretty sure it's sealed but I'm just nervous it isn't all the way and I don't want water to get in if I wash or it rains.
I asked one of my friends to help me out with the reset procedure this weekend. I'll be so dang stoked if it does work! Thanks again y'all! I'll post back with the results of the reset

I haven't forgotten about this, but I had to come to Orlando for work (sucks to work when everyone in the hotel is on spring break!)
But I'll be getting to it when I get back in town and have some time :-)

When I tinted my windows, I disconnected the door switch, so that the windows would stay in the up position(not lower the half inch and raise when you close the door). He might have disconnected that button (on the car frame inside the door jam towards the back) to prevent the windows from rolling up or down while the tint cured. Let us know what you find out
