Default ABS Light On NEED HELP?

i just got my 350z today, and when i got it, it has this weird vibrating noise even when the key is out of the ignition, its coming from the drivers side and the abs and brake light is on, what could this problem be and how much am i looking at to get this fixed? its a 2004 6spd.

The problem could be caused by a lot of things. Wild guess would be ABS pump. New one $1,000. Naturally, you want to take it to a dealer or shop that can diagnose it. Figure a couple hundred in disgnostics, labor, etc.

Wait, you just bought the car and it's broken already. I'd return it to the seller if I was you.

Did you check the obvious - low brake fluid?

the noise even happens when the car is off with no key inside, can it still be the abs pump?

If that is what your problem is which you don't know yet right? davez#3 steered you in the right direction....better get a proper diagnosis first before you start dumping money into it.

more than likely - yes. most shops don't have the nissan diagnostic system (Consult II/III). If you were getting a SES/CEL, then anybody could read the code and get an indication of the problem.
