Unhappy Can someone diagnose this sound?

My Z sounds good until getting on the highway, and the sound depicted in the video above happens intermittently at highway speeds. It seems to be contingent on speed and not RPM. It starts at around 60 or 65 mph and when I exceed that speed there is a rubbing/slapping noise. I recently replaced the brake pads and when I had the front wheels off, I checked the plastic wheel well liners and I don't think that they are rubbing against the tire. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: I should note that the sound is not constant, and it takes place for about 4-7 seconds, stops, and then starts again -- even when maintaining the same speed.

What part of the car is it coming from? I just had an issue where I'd hear a similar noise everytime I turned left and it turned out to be an exhaust hanger slipped off.

It is coming from the front of the car for sure, but it is hard to tell if it is coming from the wheel areas or from the engine bay.

Are the wheels properly torqued down? Go underneath the car and see if there any loose exhaust components. If not then it might be in the engine bay.

Sounds like one of the underbody covers. I drove through a puddle too fast once and broke a side clip, it sounded like that at freeway speeds.

This has been resolved! I don't know what it was, but I went to get the Z's oil changed about three days after this thread and the sound was completely gone. I never got a chance to check to see what it could have been, but the oil change techs must have somehow fixed it. I didn't ask what it was because I didn't notice the sound was gone until the drive home.
