So I'm driving my car along everything is good. I stop to pick up something from the store, hop back in my car, start it up, and as I'm driving away, as soon as I hit 2500rpm My engine bogs and it won't go any higher. It's raining pretty hard outside, and I have an AEM CAI with the Air bypass (thingy?), so my theory is that the CAI got some water in it so it's sucking air through the bypass, but can't supply enough air beyond 2500 rpm to match the extra fuel needed at higher revs.. This has happened to me before while it was storming out..
Any idea's if that is the case, or if there is something else wrong?

I don't think it has anything to do with not getting enough air.
I've had problems in the rain where the higher humidity screws with the sensors. My guess is you sucked in some water and some drops landed on a sensor. I've had it happen in other vehicles but never in the Z.
Another issue I've had in the rain is the humidity causing corrosion on battery posts (I couldn't rev past 1500rpm). Just clean them off and make sure everything is tight. This is far less likely though.
Does it completely die, or just drop the revs?

Yeah, I think it was the MAF sensor. When I got back from lunch, about a half hour after the problem, I started it up and it works just fine now. Odd, but oh well.. And the battery is clean, but if it happens to me with an older car I'll definitely take that into account! Thanks for the help though!

Update:
It did it again today.. Not sure if it is the humidity, but I noticed it happens on hard acceleration from a stand still.. When I hit about 5000 rpm it starts doing it, and it bogs until I go below 2500 RPM. After that, I can't go over 2500 rpm unless I shut off the engine and let it sit for a few minutes. Any ideas?

Sounds more like a fuel issue now; could be getting starved of fuel, fuel pump could be going.
Or you could check the intake sensors for dust.

I had this exact problam with my old 300zx TT the problem for me was the MAF sensor was going out, I'm not saying yours is but it definently sounds like a MAF issue specially with it bogging at 2500 RPM from experience that seems to be the cut-off when the MAF is going bad.
