Default Front turn signals not working...already replaced?

Hello guys i have a 2007 nissan 350z...i bought this car a month ago and front turn signals dont work. I already replaced bulb with 3 different kinds and it still does not work. I took a volt meter to it and it is getting current...also checked fuses and can't figure out why it does not work. Any input is greatly appreciated

If it has current the bulb will light, no current , no light. Figure out why current is not getting to the bulb

So when I put a volt meter on 20v it reads from 8 to 12 volts when i turn on my hazzards...however if i remove the other small bulb it will read at 0. The small little bulb wont blink if the actual signal bulb isnt connected as u see in this pic the bulb on top is what i am talking about...(its missing cuz its unplugged)

and here is the little bulb...it will blink fast when turning but if i unplug big bulb it wont work...and if i unplug this little one top one wont get current i dont know if i am making any sense this little bulb is 12v/5w

The two little bulbs are marker lights and should not blink, only the one bigger bulb is a turn signal

I believe you said your Z is a 2007 model. The headlights in your picture appear to be the 2003-2005 headlights. The previous owner may have changed out the headlights to make a little additional money from his Z when he sold it. You might have a wiring problem. If I am correct, you probably need to check the wiring and make sure everything is wired correctly. Also, what model is your Z?

True ^^^

You may want to pull off the bumper and lights to check the wiring situation - definitely not the original headlights for an '06+ car.

its the base model...all the wiring looks stock...doesn't look spliced or cut anywhere of course i haven't pulled off bumper and checked properly. I figured those weren't the proper lights...i just looked for the right lights but wow are they pricey....thanks i will keep trying merry x-mas!

With the '06+ cars, they all had the same HID lights, regardless of trim level. I'm not sure if the old/new headlights are a direct swap, but if you search for threads about upgrading the old to the new style, you should be able to figure out if there are any wiring differences, and perhaps do the upgrade "backwards" to get your lights to function properly.

What everyone is telling you is right, I traded my 03-05 lights with a Z owner for a set of 06+ lights, and when we swapped and he installed his, the turn signal was not lighting up, however the parking light was, for instance what is happening in your case.

Report it to the people you bought it from and let them know that these are not what came factory on your car and see what they will do about it if anything. If not, then find someone who is looking to trade or someone who is selling their 06+ for cash

Did you buy it from a Nissan dealership? If so I think you got yourself a case. Although if it was sold "as-is" I am not sure if they would do anything.

Good luck!

Question for all those wiring masters!!
My driver side turn signals isn't working, I have put a test light and it's getting power. Also ran a new ground. Have also tried the following:
Swapping light bulbs from each side
Switching wiring harness (one harness is from a depo light so the two connections in the inside aren't the same but everything else is)
Checking each wire for tears.
The only thing I haven't tried is a volt meter to test if it's getting 12v but I will check tomorrow.
