Default P0340, vdc and slip lights on

hey guys pulling into parking lot at school out of the blue my ses came on as well as vdc and slip lights. after class the vdc and slip lights went off but back on about 1 mile later. got the code read its the P0340 after little search i see its the cam position sensor code. but that it could also be a misfire in the 3th cylinder... I need to drive the car to work now and school again tomorrow is this ok? the car drives pretty much fine other then didnt start up right away the second time I started it and it just doesnt totally feel itself.

Is my best bet just ordering the cam sensor? seeing some people replace and still the same problem? how can i check it with the multimeter? im guessing its ok for some local driving?

mods: pop charger. jwt clutch and flywheel. 20"rear rims 19'front but tires match stock size ratio. tanabe nf210 springs. all mods have been on for at least 15k

deff need an oil change soon and a transmission fluid change.

thanks guys

@bjjbadboy… It’s probably the cam position sensor causing the problem. If the car is occasionally to frequently difficult to start, that pretty much nails it.

You can continue driving the car (it will keep working), but this is very risky since you will also begin experiencing a loss of power and even having the engine die (forcing a restart that might be difficult). If that happens in traffic, the result could be bad.
