Default Spark plug wells with oil

Got some oil one each side of the spark plug wells. 2 per side with some oil in them.

Seems like the only fix is to replace the valve cover.
But has anyone just tried to put some high temp rtv around the spark plug gaskets that on the valve cover? Instead of replacing them?

I wouldn't recommend the rtv trick. Rule of thum, Do it the right way with replacing the gasket so there is not regret later.

I'm probably only going to drive this car a year or two.

And that guy who makes the seals; the price is almost same after shipping and all that. Just rather get new oem if I decide to go down that route.

Anyone done the rtv way before? And how well has it help up?

My story is kinda long. Was gonna purchase from l fab-- received pm replies from them etc. A member purchased some from them and sold his car. pm-d me BC I posted on a thread, purchased from him. took a while to get in touch w l fab to receive refund. This was about 3 months ago. But texted l fan over and over and did receive refund after they received my shipment.
