Default HELP, loud "Clunk" noise

I have an '06 enthusiast stock besides popcharger. ive never had any problems with the car until a few days ago. randomly when driving (speed doesnt seem to matter too much) i will hear an extremely loud "clunk" noise coming from the rear of the car. it sounds as if its coming from somewhere near the diff but i cant seem to pinpoint it exactly. i remember reading a thread where someone had the same problem a while back but i cant find it. i was wondering if anyone on here might have had the same problem or know whats causing it.

perhaps your exhaust is moving around while you drive?

im having a similar problem but its more of a click/tick sound when i accelerate or decelerate with the engine(not braking). any thoughts? Might get the bushing set for the car and replace all bushings and clean up under the car and see if it eliminates the noise.

check bushings, replace as needed... and i remember reading somewhere that the gasket at the top of the shock can become brittle and fall out

I have the same problem. How would the dealer charge to grease both axles?

fuq that man. I just went there 200 in labor, and like 2 bucks per bolt that they "need to replace" 12 and 12 nuts and random shop charges came out a little over 300.
jack it up and do it yourself, its easy. I'm for sure going to. I can post instructions if needed.

sorry for thread jacking!!! :-\

Is it a click, or a clunk? Goofy to say, but those could highlight completely different issues.

Default 06 Enthusiast 119K miles DD - Replacing Diff Bushings

I just ordered the energy suspension rear diff bushing set for my 06 Enthusiast. Also going to put on the Nismo Diff Cover and replace the diff oil. I am not surprised, after all the car is 7 YO. The Nismo cover is on back order, so I get to wait about 3 weeks to do this. I'll post an update when I get it done.
