Default Pulsation HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2003 with 66,000 miles

I took it in because my passenger side ramped up on the curb and came straight back down at about 30 mph

I noticed a pulsation over 50 mph. It happens when I cruise, brake, accelerate over 50 mph. its a constant tempo regardless of speed and stops only when I reduce speed below 50 mph. It seems as if I have to let it warm up at a high speed for it to begin, but once it does begin, it doesn't stop until I'm under 50 mph.

took it in and they balanced, aligned, visual inspection ... the works and its still happening. Brakes checked and replaced 3 months ago.

any ideas?

If the alignment and tire/wheel balancing is done correctly, and you still have vibration above 50 mph, something in the front suspension is bent.

The reason the alignment appears to be correct on the alignment-device (but the car is actually out of alignment) is simply a bent suspension component.

Sorry to tell you this, but the repair is going to get expensive.

Good point…. People believe that a bent wheel results in tire pressure loss. That is often not the case. The bent wheel maintains tire PSI, but makes alignment impossible

Yes. In fact that is an expected result when striking a curb. --Spike
