Default winshield replacement

I have an 07 with kirk roll bar, will there be any issues with installing a windshield? I have an apt tomorrow.

FYI :Be sure to remove your rear view mirror when installing kirk roll bar or you too will need a new windshield

If the tech does the job right and removes your wiper cowl he should be able to cut it out all from outside the vehicle. Shouldn't be too much of an issue for somebody who knows what they are doing.

Hope you see this.

Be ABSOLUTELY SURE that the tech knows what they're doing with the Z windshield. You MUST remove the A pillars (long painted plastic piece which goes to the rear edge of your door glass).

I had a clown who broke BOTH of mine, and didn't tell me (gooped them back on with windshield sealant, which I eventually found out when they both came OFF. )

Don't let them use the knife too deep, or you'll score the metal pinchweld under the windshield, and eventually get rust.

Good luck!

i didn't notice when picking up the car but after reading your message i did an over view and my pillars are not even.

driver side has a gap where the window pinches all along the window and the passenger side there is no gap.

I'd phone and make sure the fitter has experience of fitting screens to 350Z's. No experience, he goes nowhere near my car. I've heard too many horror stories.

I ended up going by the shop and it turns out that the weather strips were done in a rush. They just needed to be adjusted.
