Default Help. Dash cut off and Abs Slip and VDC light on

I just put a new starter on today and when I went to do a test drive with it. My dash back lights cut off and center gauges and radio cut off. Then my ABS, VDC and Slip light popped on. Any ideas?

Sounds like something shorted out, did you leave anything loose near the wiring you moved to do the starter?

I don't believe so. I will check its weird cause everything cut back on when I tried it again then after driving for a minute or so it cut back off then the lights came back on. That happened twice.

have you installed a aftermarket radio? or have you messed with the HVAC controller wires?

It came with an aftermarket radio when I bought it. And I haven't messed with the hvac controller wires. It was fine until I changed the starter this afternoon.

So not related to the starter, just a bad coincidence? That sucks, at least you got it fixed.

Yeah or so I thought. I had it looked at by the dealership after fixing all codes. New cam sensor and crank position sensor. They ran there computer and said bad ipdm. That was replaced today and now it won't start again. I believe they said something about a fan. Any ideas?
