Air, Spark, Fuel, Compression, Battery........
if one of those things are off it will cause issues, including sensor faults.

If you got a code reading at oriely and replaced whatever part needed and it still didnt work. Then I would consider looking at your fuel pressure. I'm not sure but I think the fuel psi should be around 40-65 psi. I just have a strange feeling that your fuel pump is going bad.

I'm not a car nerd, I just been in your same shoes before and I'm speaking from experience. Good luck and please keep us posted !!
so I put in OEM crankshaft and camshaft sensors. I replaced the alternator, put in a new battery, new starter, and new fuel pump. I also cleaned out the throttle body.

I have no idea what to do now. I don’t know why it is still having issues.

once the engine warms up/gets to operating temperature, it just dies. It doesn’t matter if I am driving or if the engine is idle. It will just die. Then it doesn’t start back up until it gets cold. I have to wait 20-30 minutes before trying again.

(Assuming it cranks or spins but will not start) When it refuses to start, is it because of lack of gas or no spark ?

Default Neither

Neither, I switched out the starter and had the spark plugs checked. I also had a mechanic check the fuel. It’s really hard to explain the issue without having you see it.

.
That is not a good answer.

You (Yourself) need to pull a spark plug and with it attached to the spark plug cable, hold it to a metal part of the engine while someone else turns the key. YOU should see the spark plug spark.
.
For the gas question . . . you need to pour a very small amount in the tube behind the air filter while someone turns the key. This supplies gas to the engine to see if it will start.

Default Not physically capable

Yeah no that isn’t going to happen. I’m 100% total and permanent disabled. Hence why I paid a mechanic to check it out for me. Turning a wrench is extremely difficult for me. I have done what I could with the car. I paid someone to do the rest for me. If the answer isn’t good enough for you, idk what to tell you.

I am sorry, I did not realize your situation. I just wanted to help. It sounds like you should find a better mechanic. Best of luck to you.

Default Hard to find

Yeah that’s what I been trying to do. Some shops won’t even look at the car. Some places will but they want to charge a **** ton of money.

Roll it fwd to try to pop start it and couldn't get enough momentum by myself, still just cranks. So, I push it back into the spot and try cranking again and it fires right up... Never once did it throw a code.

I should note that I was on the phone with the driver side door open for about 5 min before trying to start the car initially after coming out of the store.

Got the car home, and it has started with no issue 3 times when I got it home and another 3 times about an hour later, just out of curiosity, each of the times the car started fine.

Ive consulted a couple sources and most common are CAS or CPS, but are these symptoms consistent with this issue, and never throwing a code?

Car is fairly new to me, about 2 months old, and has about 92k mi on it, bone stock.
Thanks in advance.
My 350z won't start until I move the steering wheel also the camshaft position sensor got the engine light on

I had the exact same problem. Your coolant fans are out. It might look like it's running, but it's so weak, and it didn't provide enough airflow, so the engine protected itself from overheating and will shut you down. Buy 2 new fans and replace it. It'll fix it right up!

Default 350z crank no start

Hello everyone seeking advice, ive been building a 350z for some time now it, it cranks but wont turn on. Sometimes when I crank it itll turn on and idle and run just fine but once I take the key out itll just crank and crank no start, ive changed my MAF sensor,Cam and crank sensor, checked all my relays and fuses, Ive read that it could be my immobilizer but I dont think so as it turns on occasionally, any advice would be nice thanks.

There is a black little plugger right under the plastic engine cover. If you take the black engine cover off, it'll be right at your left when you look at the plenum. Pull that off and get some carburetor choke cleaner and spray into it. Then start the car. If the car runs until the cc cleaner runs out. Then it's your fuel pump! I changed everything, and mine turned out to be the damn fuel pump.

Note: If after changing the fuel pump and suddenly all your gauges are out. There is a fuse box right next to your clutch pedal. The 10A (red fuse) on the 2nd row (top row is 1, and 2nd row is the bottom set) and the one closes to you might blow out.

Good luck!

Default My 350z crank no start issues i was having

Wassup guys, i am in the process of rebuilding my z and for reference i did the clutch and put the engine in. it was running but had a high idle and was running rough. while bleeding the coolant it threw a p0300 code so i cut it off and did spark plugs and coil pack i bought from auto-zone ($400). then when i re assemble every thing i tried starting it then it would only crank. i checked my wires and connections and it was 2 plugs unplugged the cps sensor and the green plug in the middle back of the engine. i thought after plugging it up and it not starting i tripped the ecu. i checked the fuel and fuel pump, key, and changed all three cps sensors, and i new the spark plugs and coils where good. i finally gave it to my mechanic and he got it fixed in a day. he told me a ground wire was loose and the ecu had a little moisture but i will get more Information to explain exactly how he fixed my problem. I will be picking it up friday.
