Default 07 Clutch Master Cylinder Question

So my car is at the dealership awaiting delivery of the HD Slave Cylinder from Zspeed. I figured I'd ask them how much it would cost for them to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder along with it if I provide them the parts. The service manager says to me verbatim: "I asked my technician, he looked it up and said it would take 5 hours, it's a big job".

Lettuce be cereal. 5 Hours? This post makes it sound like it takes no more than 2 hours if you take your time: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...-cylinder.html

Thoughts guys? Typical stealership markup? Or am I way off here?

Replacing both the slave and the clutch master can be a pretty long job. I'd estimate it closer to 3.5 hours, for a good wrench taking their time. The labor rate guide could be higher or lower than five hours, but any qualified mechanic will beat the quoted rate by quite a bit. My advice? Shop the job around to any qualified shops in your area, if you're unable to DIY.
