Front end took a hit from a curb.
So a week ago the Z drove into a curb that was not wide and only hit the dead center part of the car. The car is lowered and it appears to be a little messed up but not horrible. It did break the Radiator core support on the right side right by the connection point for the crash bar. I have already ordered one and will be getting it on. Now the issue I am looking for is it is leaking oil pretty bad. From looking at over the weekend It appears that the sway bar got pushed back and is practically touching the oil pan. On the side the lower control arms are scratched from where you can tell the sway bar hit it. So my question is the sway bar still good? Ive heard these are pretty strong so I cant imagine its bent probably just bent the mounting point and messed up the bushings right? Also will pulling down the oil pan and laying down a new seal with RTV fix the leak? It looks like its only leaking from the lower pan at that seal.
Thanks,
Thanks,

A bad sway bar will most likely mess with your alignment on the car, which in turn will make worse tire wear, so other than that it should be fine if you are fine with the consequences.

When you say the damage is not "horrible", it makes me think you'd better look much closer. If the core support was broken and the swaybar mounts are bent you can bet there's a lot more damage underneath! Leaking oil, you say? That's not a good sign and it sounds like you haven't pulled the front end to do a thorough inspection. That's the only way to know for sure...
BTW- if you say "the Z drove into a curb that wasn't wide...", you've got the first autonomous Z33 that I've ever heard of. It might need some additional programming to avoid those curbs without your firm hand on the wheel.

Haha I say it like that as I was not the one driving at the time. just the one dealing with it. I say its not horrible being it still seems to drive fine other then being a little louder and the oil leak. I took off the front bumper and from what I can see it looks like the radiator core support broke on one side and the sway bar either got pushed back or bent and is almost touching the oil pan. So im guessing it may have been pushed back enough to hit the oil pan and either bend it (it didn't look bent) or just move it a little to cause a leak. Im mostly wondering how strong are the OEM sway bars? If they were to be driven into a curb would they more likely bend or would it break and or bend the mounts and bushings? What else could really be damaged thats not visual right there with the car still being drivable and running fine?
