Default A/C stopped working after having LED brake lights fixed

So I had taken my 04 z to cutting edge audio in SD to have my LED brake lights fixed. A/C worked fine before taking it there. After picking it up. It stopped working. Apparently the blower works, and the problem is with the “climate control”. Definitely don’t want to take this to Nissan and spend +500. Any idea what happened. They said if Nissan says they(cutting edge audio) messed something up, they would fix it for free obviously.

Trav & Puss ... if the ribbon (assuming it's to the HVAC controller) wasn't plugged back in all the lights on the dash (TCS, Slip, Brake) would be lit up...

are these LED brake lights OEM or aftermarket?

I’m not sure, the previous owner put them on.

Do they look like this -

OEM

or this (aftermarket)?

(note the number of individual LEDs is different)

The shop insists they didn’t touch anything in the control panel. Any chance , while they were testing the LEDS, they screwed something up? I’ll

my issues weren't as extreme as yours, but when i had my stereo installed i noticed the speed adjuster for the windshield wipers didn't work anymore, it was either full speed or no speed. Upon tearing everything apart, the stereo shop piggy backed off the harness leading to it and it had an adverse effect to the speed controller. Just a thought..
