RE> "It has a w8 clutch"
What is a w8 clutch? Is this a single mass or dual mass clutch/flywheel? The difference between dual mass and single mass can provide an answer for your question.

In most cases, totally normal. Input shaft "gear noise". Is yours an '07+ with JK4X trans? More prevalent than CD001-009 but they all make noise. Unless the volume gets louder, it's normal.
However, the "flutter" you mention doesn't seem to be related. Unless I'm misunderstanding, this is a separate issue. Since you've got a lightweight, I'd say flywheel chatter most likely.

Are you new to the car and/or did the noise just begin happening?

The video sounds normal for a 350z. If your car has a clutch replacement and it's a SMF (instead of the OEM DMF), the noise you describe in Post #1 is normal. My aftermarket SMF (light weight clutch) makes more noise when the car is in neutral without the clutch pedal down. The noise is less if I depress the clutch while in neutral. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
