So i made the worst decision of my life 4 days ago by bringing my Z to a shop to get my oil changed , went to a local firestone because i could not change my oil at the time.
Whatever i get the oil change done and next day i do a small pull and i have smoke coming from my engine bay 🤦🏽♂️.
I pullover open my hood and lots of smoke coming from what looks like somewhere by my intake and where my dipstick is.
At first i thought it was because the oil pan drain bolt was loose but i got that tightened and still smoking at high speeds. I cant figure out what it is , not even firestone can even tell me where its coming from ..
Told me they didnt know where the oil is leaking from.
Anyone have any idea or know what or where it could be ?? im out here stressin lol
Looks like oil cant tell Smoke from where its circled
Bro i’m having the same exact issue i’m smoking bad when i get up to a higher speed and when i come to a red light i thought it was my valve covers so i replaced them thinking it would’ve been solved but it’s still doing it bad i noticed oil on my compressor but have no idea where it’s leaking from, did you ever figure out what it was?
The dipstick is not fully seated! That thing is sitting a few inches to high. Common issue! Make sure the seal for the dipstick is intact, if it's not, you will need to purchase a new one, I don't think the rubber plug seal is replaceable on these.
