Default What do you guys think? totalled?

Well I was wondering if you guys think this car is totalled or not or is possibly salvageable, I am waiting to hear from insurance.

I think its over for that thing. I had a '93 civic h/b rear ended in '99 with 1/3 of that damage and received a check in 4 days

its mountain-like, not a real mountain, I was driving off of the Cajalco exit on the I-15. I was comming back after driving (I was still in the break-in period so I was trying to put miles on it) I was about 4 or 5 turns until its a strait-away and back to the freeway. There were 3 cars in front of me which I was aproaching, I started breaking a little so I wouldnt be on their *** at the turns exit (I was going about 5-8 mph faster than them). The rear tires all the sudden started losing grip, and I got a phone call (phone rang - never picked it up) my instincts took over and i over-corrected, (I am used to driving the 280z, or the 350z with the TCS where I dont even have to correct). and the car did a 180 and went down the hill-side rolled, and hit the ground about 80ft down. Really sucks. I have taken that turn much faster in the 350z, and even faster in my 280Z, which the handling on that is the sux0rs, not sure why the rear tires started losing traction in the first place, sigh.
I guess I was lucky in it was only about 80 ft with maybe a 50 degree gradient, two turns ahead were about a 200ft drop with maybe 60 degree gradient or so then a 300ft strait-down drop. But still, i dont think this should have happend in the first place, I wasnt even going that fast. I think part of it had to do with I was breaking slightly going into the turn, normally I dont do that.

Your fault. Nothing better than seeing a car totaled with 60 day tags on it.

My buddy runs a shop where they get US titled cars/trucks import them back to Canada, fix them (Properly might I add) and the sell them back at a profit. (a salvaged titled car will cost on average 20% less for a customer, and if well fixed is a good, reliable car)
Long story short, I`ve seen many recks though his shop over the years, and the pics that you posted dont look good at all. Dont touch it with a ten foot pole!

My exwife wrecked our Sentra SER by rolling it 3 times and it had more damage to it then your car. The hood/front fenders on it were crushed all the way to the rims, rear fenders blow apart etc. Basically every body part was really messed up and insurance totalled it.

Here where it gets intersting; we got a call from a person that had her newly purchased SER . She was getting it detailed and found my exwife's business card underneth the seat. She asked if the car had ever been wrecked so we sent her pictures of it after it was flippped. The girl bought the car thinking it was a good deal with low miles not knopw the real condition of it prior to her owning it.

I guess the insurance companies sell these cars to businesses that fix them up and sell them.....BEWARE!

Absolutly DONE! And if they don't total it out you might have a really good lawsuit against the insurance company for not totaling it out. Even the very BEST body and frame repair shop will tell you it's gone.
Just one of the photos I saw showed a clear twist in the framework.
