okay thanks, thats what I thought you guys would say....anywho how am I gonna get these headlights, I know there is DIY but I'm just to scared to fck up my headlights.. + I wanted to get the 06+ headlights ....

Looks sexy in black. I if you got the cash for it go for it. It makes a hell of a difference. Wish I could afford me some blacked out 06 head lights.

I'm in the same boat as you Vash. I wanna black out my 06 headlights but am afraid to mess them up. I'm trying to muster up some confidence to do them this winter lol.

dude guys seriously its not hard............I completely understand your thoughts on this, but its not like your putting a cake in the oven.....it takes more than 250 degrees and 15minutes x a few tries to melt plastic.......

Don't be scared......follow the DIY "how to" we have in the DIY forum and if anything leave it in a bit longer versus taking it out and trying to pull apart then putting it back in............i believe the DIY states 7 or 8 minutes and if not put it back in for another 7 or 8 minutes........

I went straight for 15-18 minutes each side and the housing pulled apart first try and the plastic was warm/but no where near "damaging" like you guys are fearing..

if not, find someone in your local area on the forum thats done it before and have a DIY headlight mod day...

give it a shot..
